Welcome to the IJaS Training Session Library!
Structure
You will notice that that the training activities have been grouped for different of purposes:
Step 1 (First Line - Build Up or Press): The activities in this section are to help players either beat the first line of pressure or recover the ball with the first line pressure.
Step 2 (Second Line - Build Up or Press): The activities in this section are to help players either beat the second line of pressure or recover the ball with the second line pressure.
Step 3 and 4 ( Last Line - Scoring or Preventing Scoring): The activities in this section are to help players either beat the last line of pressure or recover the ball with the last line pressure or prevent the opposition from scoring.
Individual Development: The activities in this section are designed around small number of players to promote the development of individuals through a high number of repetition of situations.
IJaS METHODOLOGY
All of the training activities in this library were designed from game situations as starting point. This is the basis of IJaS Methodology; when training is representative of the game, we are developing players to play the game.
Consider that I have made these activities for my players. My context may be different to yours. You may be able to use the activities as is but you might have to adapt the activities for your players.
